I have other Heart Rate Watches, this is my favorite. I won't buy Polar, there are better available and I have more than one from them and checked out most of their models. This Timex is keep it simple and functional. It is a full featured watch and when the heart rate monitor and strap is used / automatic HR accurate monitor. It was worth every penny. You can use this to monitor HR use in aerobic / anaerobic training to lock specific zones or Resting HR / techniques to reduce your heart rate / control your HR / conditioning / stress related
Pros:
2 time zones, full watch features, user replacement batteries, multi display options, custom to user HR zones and specific work options, countdown, chrono, indiglo, 100M water resistance.
Cons: Not Solar Powered, none that matters for it's low price.

I needed a heart monitor for my workouts. This works great. I would like it better if it kept track of time in each zone but that is not a big deal. I am quite satisfied with this products performance and ease of use.

i bought a bunch of these as a corporate gift for my staff and generally like it. the watch is easier to use than most. the quality is a bit less than the expensive ones, however and you need to be careful about the chest strap. i pulled it tight and it broke but amazon was good about replacement. it works well overall.

I purchased this watch one month ago and have been very pleased. If at first you don't understand the instructions can go to YouTube and check out the tutorials some people have been kind enough to make. The only negative is the chest band which is tight on me (48" chest). I researched for months which watch to buy a friend was trying to talk me into a Garmin with GPS but it seemed like overkill. This watch is perfect for those who do multiple sports are serious about improving their conditioning. It is definitely priced right and has a ton of features I am glad I made this choice.
